The clean skin aesthetic (where faces were painted as if they were wearing no makeup) and Barbicore look (with an explosion of pink lipsticks and perfect flowing waves) were replaced by latte makeup.
What is latte makeup?

Light cream textures are perfect for young skin; you can also safely experiment with shimmer. When creating latte makeup on aging skin, please do not get carried away with bronzing; it is better to use a refreshing blush in coffee tones and work mainly with the upper eyelid when making eye makeup.

The secret lies in bronzers and brown shades with caramel, yellow, and olive undertones. Warm orange and red undertones should be avoided, often found in typical bronze and brown shades.
To create the effect of satiny skin with a golden tan, I recommend choosing a foundation slightly darker than your skin tone. To ensure it blends easily and goes smoothly, add a couple of drops of primer with a radiant effect and use a flat synthetic brush or a damp sponge.
They make the application softer and make it possible to carefully work out all the nuances of the relief, be it pores or small wrinkles.
Both matte and shimmering textures are suitable as bronzing powder – the choice depends on the intended result and the skin’s condition. For age-related makeup, in principle, I rarely choose matte products (only if the situation requires it) since, due to their properties, they can emphasize age. During the day, they do not feel very comfortable. Shining and shimmering textures, on the contrary, apply very thinly and look natural. Those with smooth and well-hydrated skin can afford absolutely any texture.
The saturation of a bronzer is traditionally determined by the initial skin tone. Still, there is one caveat: the larger the brush, the thinner the product will apply. So if you have fair skin, are afraid of going overboard with the tan color, or don’t want to put a stain on, pay attention to the large Clarins brush. Its rounded shape will help you softly and, at the same time, expressively work out your cheekbones and tone your face absolutely evenly.
Blush is often ignored in latte makeup. It’s better to take a caramel-peach blush and lightly brush it over the apples of the cheeks towards the temples, and also apply the remaining product on the brush to the areas where the bronzer was used.
