How You Can Decrease Excessive Inflammation in the Body?

If you want to improve your health and enjoy general well-being, add sports to your list of healthy habits! Not only does it help you get in shape, but according to a study, a specific type of exercise also reduces excessive inflammation in the body.

Inflammation occurs as the body’s response to infection or injury, being seen as a defense mechanism of the body, as it protects and repairs damaged tissues.

However, although it is essential for healing, excessive or chronic inflammation hurts the body, as it can trigger conditions such as diabetes or neurodegenerative diseases (Parkinson, Alzheimer’s). Fortunately, there are several things we can do to prevent all of these effects! For example, research has shown that moderate-intensity exercise has an anti-inflammatory effect on the body. Here’s how I can help you!

What benefits does lane walking bring?

In a study published in “Cell Physiology” on mice, researchers discovered that exercising on a treadmill (walking, running) one hour a day for eight weeks inhibits inflammation in the body. Thus, moderate physical exercises reduce oxidative stress, “educate” immune cells and improve the quality of life.

Moreover, a healthy diet that emphasizes whole foods and limits processed foods and sugar can also help reduce inflammation. In addition, increasing the intake of omega-3 fatty acids (found in salmon, trout, albacore tuna, mackerel, sardines, soybean vegetable oils, canola, olive oil, walnuts and flaxseeds) is beneficial.
