Tender sheets of lasagna, a creamy filling of cheese, minced meat and a rich white sauce form one of the most popular dishes in the world: lasagna. We show you how to prepare it in four steps!
Lasagna is a classic Italian dish that can be made during the week. It could be included in the menu: family dinner, Sunday party, lunch with friends. Many will give up the diet for a few minutes to taste it and will not regret it.
Although many recipes call for boiling the sheets before layering the base components and putting the pan in the oven, you could also try using uncooked sheets. If you decide to serve the lasagna to some friends, you could prepare it a day in advance, keep it cold, and then reheat it before serving. It will be delicious! Did you know it can also be frozen? You assemble it, cover it with cling film and freeze it. If necessary, thaw it in the refrigerator, remove the foil and bake it for half an hour.

For the meat sauce:
Heat the oil in the pan and fry the chopped onion until it browns slightly, then add the meat and chop it as best as possible. Put the chopped carrot, season with salt and pepper to taste, cover it, and boil on low heat until the water is reduced. If more is needed, pour more water and let it cook until the meat penetrates.
Pour the wine over the meat and, after five minutes, add half the amount of tomato juice, oregano and grated nutmeg to taste. Cover and leave to boil for ten minutes.
For the white sauce, mix the cream cheese, at room temperature, with the cream until it has a smooth consistency, then add half the amount of mozzarella.
Spread some tomato sauce on a tray, then place a layer of lasagna sheets prepared according to the instructions on the package. Place a layer of meat, tomato sauce, then white sauce, lasagna sheets again, meat and continue until you finish the ingredients, with a layer of meat on top. Sprinkle with grated mozzarella and place the tray in the oven at 180 °C for about half an hour until the lasagna is lightly browned.
