Health Benefits of Eating Avacado Every Day

Avacado

Avocado is a unique fruit. While most fruits consist primarily of carbohydrates, avocados contain high healthy fats. Many studies show that avocado is concentrated fruit with powerful health benefits.

Why Avacado is Benenficial?

Avocados may seem like hipster food, but this fruit can do much more than looking good on Instagram photos. Avocados, known for their soft, creamy consistency and a taste that goes with almost anything, have evolved increasingly widespread in the last ten years.

In addition to its star status in the kitchen, avocados also contain fats that are healthy for the heart and micronutrients such as potassium, folate, vitamin B6, vitamin C and magnesium.

The creamy avocado is not just an excellent ingredient to add to the salad or spread on the breakfast sandwich. Studies show that it positively affects everything from heart disease and diabetes to weight loss and hair quality.

What are the Health Benefits of Avacado?

Avocado is the fruit that we all love because of its excellent taste and texture, but also that many forget. It’s incredible nutrition.

In recent years, avocados have become a trendy fruit, especially among young and health-conscious people. Avocados are often associated with “superfood”, which is not surprising given its many health benefits.

It contains lots of Antioxidants.

Antioxidants protect your cells from external influences. It is a bit of a general miracle substance that you should try to get in you daily, and avocados contain lots of it.

1. Reduces the Risk of Heart Disease

Eating more fruit of any kind can help promote cardiovascular health, and avocados can be incredibly effective. A study published in 2020 shows that one avocado a day can protect the heart by reducing the risk of oxidative stress leading to chronic inflammation.

2. Regulates Cholesterol

Avocado fibre, fatty acids, and nutrients together lower the so-called bad cholesterol LDL levels. At the same time, it raises the levels of the good cholesterol HDL, regulates blood sugar levels and counteracts inflammation in the body.

3. It Contains Healthy Fats

Avocados are high in fat. 77% of the calories in avocados are from fat, making it one of the fattest plant foods available.

But avocados do not just contain any fat, which in some way would be bad for us. Without the majority of the fat in avocados, it is oleic acid. This unsaturated fatty acid is also an essential part of olive oil and is believed to be responsible for some of its health benefits.

4. Prevents Diseases

Studies have shown that avocados can help the body absorb carotenoids, which have antioxidant properties to help prevent cancer.

5. Boost Brain Health

Avocados are a good source of folate (also known as vitamin B9), perhaps best known for reducing the risk of neural tube defects in growing fetuses. Researchers are now investigating whether folate can affect the brain long after it is fully developed. Studies suggest that the nutrient may reduce the risk of cognitive decline and depression.

A study published in 2021 found that daily consumption of avocados had a positive effect on the bacterial flora in the participants’ stomachs and intestines by increasing the diversity of the good bacteria.
