One of the phenomena that usually indicates the passage of time is the appearance of grey hair, i.e. the depigmentation of hair strands. For various reasons, some turn white faster, but the greying process can be slowed down. How? Find out in the following!
Stress can lead to the loss of hair pigmentation and, consequently, to the appearance of white hair, regardless of the age of those who go through this context. Monitoring hair pigmentation could be useful in assessing the effectiveness of anti-stress treatments or interventions aimed at slowing the ageing process. Although this research did not find the exact way to scientifically reverse the loss of pigmentation to its natural colour, it was concluded that reducing stress can slow the process. It is not the only way to keep your usual hair colour. Some homemade solutions will also help you!
What type of shampoo should you choose?
One of the ways in which you can combat the appearance of white hair has nothing to do with going to a beauty salon, where you could temporarily remove it by applying a hair dye. You could apply a solution that maintains the appearance of the hair and gives it shine. Choose a shampoo with wheat germ, mineral salts, and vitamin E. Specialists claim that such a product increases the resistance of the hair, protects it and gives it vitality.
3 natural remedies that slow down greying
Rosemary, Sage and Green Tea
A home remedy, very economical and quick, contains only four natural ingredients. It is a litre of water, a spoonful of chopped rosemary, a spoonful or a bag of sage and a bag of green tea. Strain the mixture and store it in a glass jar. You leave it in the well-closed jar for 24 hours, and then it is ready to be applied to the hair, from the roots to the ends. After application, put on a shower cap and leave for an hour. After this time, wash your hair as usual.
