Sodium bicarbonate, also called baking soda, is a well-known product. But did you know it can be used in different ways to relieve minor ailments.

Food-grade sodium bicarbonate, not to be confused with baking soda (household), is a product you probably have in your kitchen. But beyond this use, did you know that food-grade bicarbonate can also be used to treat minor ailments.

On the digestive level

Bicarbonate can help restore digestive balance in case of difficulty digesting after a meal.  It can also relieve heartburn and acid reflux. To do this, mix a teaspoon in a glass of water before drinking it. And if you have digestive problems, know that bicarbonate can make it easier if you add it to the cooking water of your food.
