Acne in Different Places on the Body – Look What Diseases Signs They Are?

Some attribute acne to clogged pores or hormonal imbalances. Suppose it appears at maturity in various areas of the skin and body. In that case, it may indicate health problems in the early stages.

An alternative medicine practice that examines where acne occurs on the face is called facial mapping or cartography and determines health problems. Although it’s not an exact science, learning how and why acne occurs in certain areas can help you learn how to prevent some conditions from worsening.

Eruptions on the forehead

They are most often caused by stress and digestive disorders. It can also be triggered by topical factors, such as hair or hats covering the forehead. Getting at least seven hours of sleep, proper hydration, a balanced diet, and minimizing friction on the forehead can help reduce acne.

Cheek acne

If acne appears on the upper part of the cheek, it is associated with the respiratory system. Lower cheek acne is related to poor dental hygiene and surface bacteria. For cheek acne, it is recommended to frequently ventilate the rooms where we stay for a long time, to clean the items that often come into contact with the face, such as mobile phones, pillowcases or make-up brushes.

Zone T correlated with the liver and kidneys

If acne appears more often in the area between the eyebrows to the nose and chin, also called the T-zone, it may be triggered by gastrointestinal imbalances or food allergens. Acne on the nose is linked to liver or kidney problems. A red or pimpled nose could indicate high blood pressure or liver dysfunction.

To improve the appearance of the T-zone, some experts recommend reducing the consumption of dairy products, red meat and fast food or replacing them with vegetables, greens, and fruits.

Rashes on the chin indicate hormonal problems

Acne that appears on the chin is caused by hormonal imbalances. A regular sleep schedule, a healthy diet, increased fluid intake, and possibly Omega-3 supplements are good options to combat chin acne.

What causes acne on the back, arms or thighs

Hormonal fluctuations or genetic inheritance could be the causes of acne on the back, arms and thighs. And the clothes you wear can lead to skin irritation and acne. Wear clean, not too-tight clothes, and avoid soaps and lotions with ingredients that clog pores, like natural oils. If the problem persists, change the type of fabric of your usual clothes or seek the advice of a dermatologist.

Hairline acne

When it appears on the top of the forehead, along the hairline, acne could be caused by hair gel or other hair care and styling products that block the pores. Hairline acne could be caused by a hair product, sweat, or oils.
